Pipplet Service Shutdown – What You Need to Know


As part of a broader shift within the ETS group, the Pipplet platform will be phased out by December 20, 2025.


We know Pipplet has been a valuable tool for many of you, and we want to make this as helpful and transparent as possible. This article outlines the timeline, what actions you can take, and how we can support you going forward.

What You Can Still Do


Until December 20, 2025, you can continue to:


  • Log in and manage your account via dashboard.pipplet.com
  • Assign tests and use any remaining credits
  • Buy additional credits as needed, but keep in mind: Additional credits will expire on December 20, 2025, regardless of purchase date. Credits set to expire sooner will still expire on their original dates (no extensions). No new orders will be accepted after December 20, 2025.
  • Download all test reports and data (PDFs, CSV exports) for your records
  • Request a refund for unused credits as of December 20, 2025, applicable to orders placed before the notice date July 8, 2025.

We recommend planning ahead to ensure all credits are used up in time and important data is saved before December 20, 2025.

Why is Pipplet being phased out?


This change is part of a broader strategic realignment within ETS to streamline and focus its services. As a result, Pipplet will be phased out at the end of 2025.


Can I still use Pipplet until the shutdown?


Yes, you will have full access to the platform—including testing, reporting, and candidate results—until December 20, 2025.



Can I still buy more credits?


Yes, you can buy additional credits before the deadline. Keep in mind:


  1. Those credits will expire on December 20, 2025
  2. Credits with earlier expiry dates will not be extended
  3. No new orders will be accepted after December 20, 2025



Will I be refunded for unused credits?


We will provide refunds for any unused credits as of December 20, 2025, for orders placed before the notice date July 8, 2025. Credits purchased after this date will not be eligible for a refund. We still encourage you to plan ahead and use all remaining credits before the platform closes on December 20, 2025.


What happens to my data?


You’ll have full access to test data and results until December 20, 2025. After that, the platform will close. We strongly recommend exporting anything important before then.


How can I export my test data?


You can download candidate reports (PDF) or export your account data (CSV) directly from your dashboard. We recommend doing this well in advance of the shutdown.


What is TOEIC Link and how is it different?


TOEIC Link is an online English-language assessment solution, developed by ETS to offer structured, reliable test results, scalable delivery, and a high standard of testing integrity for organizations.


If English assessment is part of your organization’s hiring, training, or academic process, it could be a strong next step.


Is TOEIC Link available now?


TOEIC Link is currently available in select markets. If TOEIC Link aligns with your English assessment needs, we would be glad to help you evaluate it and arrange a walkthrough or consultation.



What if I have a contract with Pipplet?
