Do you want to verify the identity of your test-taker when taking the Pipplet test? Here are two different ways to do so:
Visual monitoring
You can enable remote identity verification for free through the candidate's webcam to confirm the individual taking the test is the same person, eliminating the need for in-person meetings.
How does it work?
When adding a new test-taker on your dashboard, simply check the box "Check the candidate's identity using his/her webcam."
Pipplet will request permission from the test-taker to access their webcam. Snapshots will be taken at random times throughout the test.
You can view these snapshots on your dashboard to validate identity.
Pipplet’s Proctoring Alerts are sorted into two categories depending on the nature and severity of the issue detected: Unusual Behavior or Test Security Violation.
Proctoring Alert Categories
Unusual Behavior:
We detected some unusual behavior on the test, but the test remains valid and a grade is provided. The client is informed of the potential issue, and may wish to review the test themselves.
A grade is provided.
An orange “Unusual behavior” flag appears on the dashboard.
The test results page will provide further details of the nature of the violation.
The email containing the test takers’ results for the client explains the reason for the alert.
The evaluation report does not mention unusual behavior.
Test Security Violation:
The test taker has violated our test security guidelines, and as a result their test has been invalidated.
No grade is provided.
A red “Test Security Violation” flag appears on the dashboard.
The test results page will provide further details of the nature of the violation.
The email containing the test takers’ results for the client indicates that the test was invalidated and explains the reason for the alert.
The evaluation report will indicate that the test was invalidated.
