Often times your microphone and camera are not working because of privacy permissions or software reasons.

Troubleshoot the problem checking these first few items:
Make sure your computer's sound is on and that your speakers are turned up.
Ensure your camera's computer security settings on your mac or pc are enabled.
Check that you have installed the latest software update on your browser, tablet, or your smartphone device.
Try accessing the test from another network, for example try connecting your computer to your mobile hotspot to share your connection.
Restart your computer, tablet, or smartphone device.

Taking the test from a computer?

Make sure you have the latest version of Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox installed on your computer.

Taking the test from a smartphone?

From a iOS smartphone:

You must have iOS 11.3 in order for the test to function properly.
The test only works on Safari. Do not use Chrome from your iOS smartphone.
It is also important to access the test from Safari directly, not from your email application.

From a Android smartphone:

It is necessary to have Chrome V53 at most for the test to work.
